Basically you’re getting two posts today. Because of that, I’m giving you some insight into my personal life because it’s what I want to write about in one of these posts!

Daylight Savings Time

Daylight Savings Time is a ridiculous concept. Time cannot be saved, or gained! The older I get the harder it is for my body to adjust to these arbitrary changes in the time/space continuum. I woke up at 4:45 this morning of my own accord because my body thought it was 5:45. Likewise I fell asleep at 9:30pm last night. I mean, usually I’m good until at least 10pm. Thank you World War II and the US Government’s decision to implement Daylight Savings Time.

Reasons for Less Content on the Blog

Regular readers have no doubt noted that my weekly posts have become less reliable. The reasons are manifold (I like that word). To put it into few words, I have had a lot going on. I work as a Small Groups Pastor, which is my normal day job. I also moonlight as a property manager, which has increased in workload as of late. This Fall I also decided to start doing some tech consulting, because I have this day off on Friday that I don’t know what to do with. Oh and I coached two of my kids’ soccer teams. Not to worry, I’m hoping to only add one more job for the Spring… If that one additional job does come through (I don’t want to mention it yet), then I will be blogging a little less regularly – but still regularly. I guess you could say I’ve made paying for my children’s education a bigger priority than my own free time.

Conclusion

Now you know way more than you probably wanted to know about my daily life. In Summary, I do not like daylight savings time. God bless you this week.
