Creating your own flashcards is easy. Last time I talked about a flashcard app for your phone, and now I’ll show you an easy way to make them. This technique will work for any subject matter and in several languages. So here we go…

Creating the Flashcards

1. Point a web browser to https://quizlet.com/create-set and you’ll see the following screen.

2.  Enter in the terms for the flashcards as I’ve done below. For this example I’m teaching myself the shorthand for Mac keyboard controls.

3. Click ‘Create’

4. Then you will have the option to share the flashcards if you wish, as shown below.

5. Now click on “flashcards” as seen on the next screen, which is below.

6. Then you will be able to interact with the flashcards in the web app.

Alternatively, once you have created the flashcards in quizlet, you may utilize the post from last week that will show you how to download the flashcards that you just made to your phone so that you can take them anywhere you go.
